Judicial Performance Evaluation in Maldives is ongoing with the rollout of a pilot project involving the evaluation of senior courts judges. Very encouraging to see the engagement of the senior judiciary and magistrates with whom I have spoken regularly throughout the project. The judiciary has embraced performance evaluation and continue to work with the project team to implement an effective process.  This demonstrates the need to engage with the judiciary during the drafting and implementation stages of the project.
